Eats: Restaurant still needed in Asheville

  • Since 2007, readers have begged for an Ethiopian restaurant. Here’s hoping that before next year’s poll, their wish will be granted. Several entrepreneurs have already set their sights on dishing up the classic Ethiopian staples of wat (Berbere-spiced stew) and injera (fermented flatbread). Locally, Vicki Schomer and Neeraj Kebede of Asheville Green Cottage are crafting a plan to set up a restaurant. On behalf of our readers, Xpress wishes them the best of luck.
